Portland Neighborhood Tour: Multnomah Village

This is a hidden neighborhood that's both quiet and vibrant at the same time. Contradiction? Yes and no. Multnomah Village has the charm of a small village complete with cafes, restaurants, pubs, book stores. And yet, despite the commercial activities, the area has an air of calm feeling anywhere you walk. It's hip and yet sophisticated; quiet and yet full of life. Homes were typically built in the mid 1900's. You'll find many of them have been remodelled. Only 12 minutes to downtown, it's one of the most sought-after neighborhoods for people in the know.
