Rose City Park home styles include English, craftsman, ranch, bungalow and old-Portland types.  Of these ranch styles are by far the minority.  Roof lines vary in height but have a steep pitch in most cases with little eave overhand.  Dormers of varying shape pop out, breaking up architecture and add character.  Brickwork with heavy barge rafters with matching corbels add flair.  Living spaces are on the main floor and bedrooms upstairs.  Basements are usable, finished and not.  Garages are often single car detached or attached, most homes have them.  Homes are well-kept in appearance!
