Towering evergreens limbed for a manicured look are in abundance.  Sparse amounts of filtered sunlight do make it through but the average yard maintains a significant quantity of shade.   This location resembles more of a high-end lakeside subdivision where streets are often roughly paved and don’t have sidewalks.  Pine needles are everywhere, adding a sophisticated rustic feel.  With very little city noise, it’s peaceful setting.  Most of this neighborhood is considered unicorporated Lake Oswego but still feeds top area schools, a big seller.  Average lot size is now around 7500’ and owners often split remaining large lots to capitalize on the sale of this desirable Lake Oswego real estate.  Walkscore tends to be very good, near  80.  Browse all Lake Oswego Homes for Sale immediately.

Lake Grove Home Styles –

Home styles in this neighborhood vary greatly, quite the mixed bag.  Luxury is what Lake Oswego is known for and homes catering to such a lifestyle have made their entry into Lake Grove.  Originally set apart by older homes built in the 1950’s large lot sizes separated homes.  Real estate is now prime so infill housing has really taken hold and this definitely an up and coming Lake Oswego neighborhood.  Large new construction is lavishly finished with fine exterior and interiors while the abutting property could very well be a vintage 1200’ cottage.  Since lot sizes tend to be fairly good sized many homes are 1970’s ranch style single level residences.  Newer traditional home styles are 2 story.  Overall appearance is modest currently but the landscape is changing towards a more higher end focus.
